Steve has hosted the Institution of Civil Engineers North East Awards since 2022. Staged at the Crowne Plaza Newcastle, The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is a professional membership body that government and industry listen to, while providing unrivalled support to it’s 95,000 civil engineer members.

As well as the prestigious Robert Stephenson Awards, there is the STEM Ambassador Award, Volunteer of the year, Chair’s Recognition, and a special thank you.

Following an introduction from Steve, The ICE North East Chair welcomes guests.

Steve provides subtle background vocals during dinner, whilst guests are also entertained by Close Up Magician Paul Lytton.

It’s then down to business, and the Robert Stephenson Awards.

Small Project - Up to £1 million

Medium Project - Between £1 - 5 million

Large Project - Above £5 million

Following the awards guests enjoy a DJ, Photobooth, racing simulators and Batak.
