Steve was delighted to be asked to MC afternoon tea at the House of Lords. It was to promote awareness of Learning Disabilities and Autism, and also to launch the LD Awards for 2024, which Steve has hosted since the inaugural event in 2014.
The event was attended by distinguished guest, previous winners and people within the sector.
Lord Palmer of Childs Hill, OBE, FCA was the perfect host and orator. There was also a speech from Cecilia Anim CBE, Former President of the RCN.
