Steve has been very proud to host the Great British Care Awards since 2009. It recognises the unsung heroes in social care. Originally asked to present the awards in the North East, the organisers liked Steve’s warmth and  presenting style. They then asked him to host all nine regional events and two national finals the following year. He continues to do so to the present day.

The awards have been held in some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, including; Grosvenor House Hotel, Royal Courts of Justice, Tower Bridge, Connaught Rooms, Old Trafford, Birmingham ICC, National Railway Museum, Imperial War Museum, Renaissance Hotel, National Motorcycle Museum, Peterborough Showground, The Brewery & Blackpool Tower Ballroom to name a few.
