Steve
hosted the Prince's Trust Demolition Ball at the Gosforth
Marriott Hotel in early April 2010. As well as people
from the world of construction and demolition, other North
East business leaders attended. The event was in conjunction
with Meldrum Construction services. The Prince's trust
aims to change young people's lives, and help them build
a better future for themselves. As well as a really enjoyable
evening, the amount raised exceeded expectations during
the present economic climate. Steve would like to say
thank you to Ian Birtwistle, Charlotte Harris, Alma Devine
and all the volunteers who gave their time. Of course
a big thank you to David Meldrum, who very kindly supported
the whole event. There was money raised through the likes
of the auction, prize draw, and hit and miss game, all
hosted by Steve. The stage was then set for the Taylor
Moon band, who provided music for people to party, and
dance the night away. As with many events, Steve provided
lead vocals for the band as well as compering. Many clients
find this very cost effective.

Steve, It was a pleasure to work with you on Saturday.
It was indeed a pleasant evening which was made
all the better by the fundraising which we managed
to do. From fundraising activities on the night
alone we managed to make just over £8K which
is a great achievement, due in no small part to
your excellent compering. It was great that we kept
to time and actually beat the clock on occasions!
