Steve was pleased to be invited back to Nissan in late August 2010 to host the family fun day. Organised by Shesgottit Events, the inclement weather didn't stop everyone having a great time. Workers at Nissan Sunderland are celebrating, having secured work for the foreseeable future, building the new Nissan Juke for hopefully many years to come. Steve was the host on the main stage, the Nissan Benfield Stage, so named as Benfield Motors were on of the partners and supporters of the event. As well as the main stage and fun fair, there were workshops where you could learn to breakdance, and even talk to Derek the animatronic dragon!

There was no shortage of entertainment on the main stage, performers included;

  • Martin Duffy - Magician
  • SuFuze & Ghetlow Pirates - Dance Show
  • De Ramos - Daredevil Show
  • Jeff Parker 5 - Swing and Rat Pack band
  • Turbo Jonez - Zany Comedy MC / Rapper
  • ZU2 - U2 Tribute Band
  • Utter Madness - Madness Tribute

“Steve Walls was invited back to Nissan to host this years event following his performance in our previous event. Steve is good at holding and linking a show together through his rapport with the audience and appeals to all ages. All in all a thoroughly genuine guy and credit to his profession”
Richard Craig – Nissan Motor Manufacturer

Steve hosted Nissan Summer Sunday for Alan Hillary Events www.ahevents.co.uk in July 2008.

The event was a big success, with over 6,000 people in attendance. Nissan have been overwhelmend with the the way the Qashqai has been received by their customers, so much so, they have had to introduce a three shift system and a nightshift to cope with demand! This event was a thank you to everyone at Nissan for their hard work. As well as a fun fair, football coaching, and numerous other activities, three top bands headlined on the main stage, there were tributes to Blur and Oasis, The Jam and finally Madness.

As well as Alan Hillary, Steve would like to say thank you to Gary Collin and also Lucy and Dawn from Nissan.
