Steve was the inaugural Keeping It Live Compere, and has hosted every one to date. The Event is organised by Marcus Collingbourne, and the Show is produced by John Hopcroft. It has become the UK’s largest and most prestigious Light Entertainment Showcase. It is held at the Horseshoe Bar, Blackpool Pleasure Beach every January, and Willenhall Social Club, Coventry in November. Originally Six sessions over three days, which has become on many occasions, eight sessions over four days. It sees Live Bands, Vocalists, Tribute Shows, Comedians, Speciality Acts, Meet and Greet Artistes and just about any kind of entertainment you care to name, perform for the audience of Agents, Bookers and Venue Owners.
