Charlie Bear at the Metro Centre

Steve hosted an event at the Metro Centre in early December 2011 for Charlie Bear. It is was a fundraising event for the Cybersurgery Appeal to help raise three million pounds.

Steve introduced and interviewed Sir John Hall. Sir John has himself has undergone treatment at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care. It is also the 25 year anniversary since Sir John built the Metro Centre.

Steve introduced the Capello Singers from Newcastle RGS & Vocalist Karen Harding. Both are pictured below.

Other performers included TV presenter from Disney's "Art attack" - Jassa Ahluwalia, and the BBC's "So you think you can dance" finalist - Kirsty Swain. Steve is appearing with both of them in Aladdin at Whitley Bay playhouse in 2011. The collection during the event raised £405.32.
